Workflow

We don’t just take tickets and write code. We challenge assumptions, propose architectural alternatives, and own the technical outcome.

ULAM LABS senior engineering team
  • Async by default

    We deliver projects in Agile (Scrum), working in two-week sprints within small teams. Most communication happens in writing on Slack. Regular daily stand-ups, retrospectives, planning session are those meetings that have agendas, or they don't happen.

  • Flexible hours

    Most crucial job is happening during core hours 9:30am - 2:00pm. Need to log out for 1.5 hour? No problem - you’ll do your work later or on a another day.

  • Direct collaboration

    You work and communicate directly with client in English, even if you are Developer or QA Specialist. No layers of hierarchy slowing things down - ask what you need, and have fast answers from source.

  • Knowledge-sharing

    Silos-breaking Project Breakfasts are our best way to exchange experiences and tell about your role in project to other teams, so you can brainstorm together on challenges that you face on a daily basis.

  • Feedback culture

    You receive and give feedback on a daily basis and every six months as a summary from and to the Team, Tech Lead & Project Manager. It covers technical skills, soft skills, and day-to-day collaboration.

    Screening call

    Ice breaking phone conversation with People & Culture Team to talk about your experience, goals and expectations, with part in English.

  • 60-90 min

    Technical Session

    Live discussion with a technical recruitment team. We walk through real-world scenarios, technical decisions, and how you approach problem-solving — no whiteboard puzzles.

    Feedback

    Whether it's a yes or a no, you get clear, constructive feedback. If it's a match, we share a concrete offer with role, contract, and onboarding plan.
