To prepare for the HR recruitment interview, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the company and its values on the "About" and "Join us" sections of the website. Be ready to answer common questions, such as your reasons for seeking a new job, your interest in working at ULAM LABS, your previous job responsibilities that are relevant to the new position, and your priorities in your role. Expect inquiries about job-specific skills and behavioral scenarios.
If you are preparing for an online recruitment interview, ensure you have a reliable internet connection, functioning equipment, and a working camera. If you lack experience in online interviews, we also suggest practicing virtual conversations with others to enhance your online communication skills.
Most importantly, be yourself and stay relaxed. The individuals conducting the meeting will make every effort to ensure your comfort during the conversation. :)
During the technical meeting, you will get to know the people with whom you will have the opportunity to work. The conversation will be based on conducting a short interview to assess your technical skills. There may also be recruitment tasks to complete. Be prepared for conversations in both Polish and English. If you have questions about the project or team you could join, they will be answered during this meeting. Furthermore, for programmer positions, you can expect questions about specific programming skills and languages, as well as approaches to technical problem-solving and system design. There may also be inquiries about experience with particular tools and technologies, along with practical tasks or coding tests to evaluate a candidate's practical skills.
The contact person for each candidate is the HR Specialist, who provides information about the next stages of the process, conducts screening calls, and HR meetings, and offers feedback after each stage. During technical meetings, the candidate also has the opportunity to meet potential team members and sometimes the future supervisor.
HR recruitment meetings are primarily held online via Google Meet. For technical meetings, we usually invite candidates to our office in Wroclaw. If you live far from us and prefer to work 100% remotely, we can also conduct the technical meeting online.
There is no dress code at the company, so there's no need to wear a suit or formal attire. We recommend dressing comfortably, in clean and modest attire; a casual style is most appropriate.
ULAM LABS consistently communicates the results of the recruitment process to candidates. However, in some situations (for example, if the recruitment process is still ongoing and a decision has not yet been made), this may take some time. Typically, candidates receive notification of the recruitment result via email or telephone.
