Today, we are excited to shine the spotlight on one of our pivotal members of our marketing team, Karolina - who serves as our Growth Marketer. She’s an instrumental part of our company's success and is helping us stay ahead of the curve and achieve our goals.
As a Growth Marketer, I'm responsible for managing various aspects of our marketing strategy, with a particular focus on search engine optimization (SEO). This involves analyzing our competitors, tracking industry changes, and continuously improving our website to ensure that we remain competitive.
I also work on content creation for our website and collaborate with our branding team to ensure that our brand image is consistent and compelling. Additionally, I work closely with our development and product design teams to align our marketing efforts with our overall business goals.
To me, the most important thing about our company culture is that we're all about quality. We take being "quality freaks" seriously, which means we always strive to do our best and hold ourselves to high standards. It also means we're always looking for ways to do things better and come up with new ideas to stay ahead of the game. I'm really proud to be a part of this team, where everyone is dedicated to making sure we deliver the best quality work possible.
I'm lucky to work for a company that's all about innovation, creativity, and growth. In general, I find my work satisfying and demanding, and I am looking forward to exploring further possibilities for professional advancement at ULAM LABS! :)
As a growth marketer in tech, it's super important for me to keep up with the latest industry changes so I can be good at my job and stay competitive. I always try to learn and expand my knowledge to keep up.
As a marketer, I also gotta keep up with the latest marketing trends to keep our company on top. Even though it's hard, I love being part of such a cool and changing industry.
Sure I do! I appreciate the autonomy I have in my work. While I do work as part of a team, I am not heavily reliant on others to get my work done. I am responsible for the results of my work, and my ideas are always taken into consideration. I can count on my colleagues for support when needed, but for the most part, I work independently. Overall, I feel that I have a good balance of autonomy and support in my role.
My best day at work at Ulam Labs was actually my first day on the job. The onboarding experience was fantastic, and it really set the tone for my time here. The People Team made sure that I met with all the relevant people, got a tour of the office, and got an introduction to the company culture. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which helped me feel at ease. My first day at Ulam Labs was a perfect start to my career here.
Definitely, it is the ability to bring transparency and trust to supply chain management. A great example of this is IBM's campaign with Carrefour, where they used blockchain to track the supply chain of their products from farm to store. This allowed customers to see the entire journey of their food, including where it was grown, who harvested it, and when it was shipped. This kind of transparency not only builds trust with customers but also helps to ensure ethical and sustainable practices throughout the supply chain. Campaigns like this inspire me to keep up with the latest developments in blockchain technology and explore new ways to leverage it for marketing purposes.
I am currently studying clinical psychology, which is a passion of mine outside of my work as a Growth Marketer. While these may seem like two separate areas, I find that the knowledge and skills I gain from studying psychology can actually be very useful in my marketing work. For example, I can apply my understanding of human behavior and decision-making to create more effective marketing strategies that resonate with our target audience. I believe that having a diverse range of interests and hobbies outside of work can bring valuable insights to my professional life.
My recruitment process was very thorough and professional. It consisted of a phone interview, a recruitment task, and in-person meetings with the People Team and technical staff.
I was particularly impressed with how well-organized and informative the presentations were. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated the opportunity to meet with different members of the team. Overall, I had a positive experience and felt that the company took the recruitment process seriously.
For those who don't have extensive knowledge of blockchain but want to join ULAM LABS’ marketing department, my advice would be to keep an open mind and be willing to learn. While having some basic understanding of blockchain would be helpful, it's not a requirement.
The company provides ample opportunities for employees to learn and grow including tech talks or internal webinars about the blockchain space. Having a strong passion for marketing and a desire to work in an innovative environment is key to success in the marketing team.
